My work experience ranges from libraries and law firms to bicycle mechanic and store owner.

NexGen Technologies, Denver Federal Center, BLM Architectual & Engineering division, Document Library Manager 12/2012 – Present

• Develop and implement protocols for screening the existing paper document library for disposal or preservation of documents
• Train project staff in application of screening protocols
• Develop and implement an electronic SharePoint  document library archive which will hold the scanned documents.
• Determine the memory capacity requirements needed to store the electronic files on Client’s SharePoint site, and provide memory requirements projected for next two years.
• Serve as the primary resource for Quality Records uploading and management
• Providing monthly metrics report for quality management and compliance reviews

BLM Library (Bureau of Land Management), Denver Federal Center, Library Technician, 10/2011 – 1/2012

• Worked on BLM Library Digitization Initiative
• Selected, packed and shipped BLM Library materials to Internet Archive
• Created Shipment Tracking database in Access 2010 to track and return library materials
• Uploaded digital files into ContentDM collections

   Holme Roberts & Owen LLP, Denver, CO, Library Technical Services Support, 1/1997 – 5/2011

• Through continuing review and analysis and stringent record-keeping realized over $80,000 in savings to budget by weeding unneeded materials in 2010 for a total exceeding $500,000 over a span of 14 years
• Coordinated annual procurement of legal office books for over 200 Attorneys in 7 nationwide offices, including tax code and regulations, state and federal court rules, CFRs (code of federal regulations)
• Researched Open Source Integrated Library Systems including Evergreen, Koha, Drupal for possible catalog replacement
• Documented standard Library procedures for use by library personal in other HRO offices (utilized a SharePoint Wiki for this project)

   CoALL (Colorado Association of Law Libraries) Denver, CO, 2010 – Present

• Volunteer webmaster
• Maintain and update website and email listserv
• Published a series of technical services columns for the CoALL Newsletter (articles range from enhancing your catalog to installing a LAMP stack, required to install an Open Source integrated library system such as Koha or Evergreen)

   Las Colinas Bike & Fitness, Irving, TX, Owner, 1992 – 1995

• Opened a new bicycle store with a partner
• Sold the business to a larger chain of bike stores in 1995
